These female polar bears are likely 3-4 years old and sisters. As they wait for the ice to form on Hudson Bay, they spend their days resting and playing together. Like small children, polar bears also seem to enjoy playing on the ice taking full advantage of slipping and sliding. In the coming years, they will part ways and give birth to their own cubs. taken 11/07
