Winter Light
Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming- Edition of 500 On some cold winter mornings, fog forms in the river valleys and covers everything with a beautiful layer of ice crystals. On this particular morning, the fog lifted right as the sun began to rise. The result was a back-lit scene of cottonwoods and evergreens glistening with ice. Although extremely brief in its’ intensity, it was simply one of the most beautiful scenes I've ever experienced. taken 12/99
