National Elk Refuge , Wyoming - Edition of 1000
Mornings on the Elk Refuge are often foggy. On this particular morning, this group of bulls looked like ghostly shadows in the fog. Like many beautiful nature scenes, it only last a minute or two before the fog became too thick to see the elk. Please note this is a difficult image to show digitally due to the shades of white and gray that your monitor cannot display - the print of this picture is powerful. taken 1/00
