Autumn happens quickly on the Alaska Peninsula. As the days become shorter, temperatures drop and the high country is blanketed in the first snows of the fall. In this image, two bears search for the the last salmon of the year. They will soon journey to theses surrounding mountains to hibernate through the winter as they wait for the next year’s run of salmon.
