Ancient Journey
Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming
As January snows blanket Hayden Valley, the bison herds begin their migration toward the geyser basins, where warm ground and exposed grasses ease the hardships of winter. As this herd moved toward Mary Mountain, Tony laid on the snow as the herd passed to capture this intimate, ground-level perspective of the bison. In the quiet of winter, the slowly rising sun illuminates the clouds, casting a gentle light over the herd as they roam freely through Yellowstone’s wild landscape.

Icy Nomad
Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming
Bison are enduring symbols of the American West. Nearly wiped out by relentless slaughter in the 1800s, only about twenty animals survived in the remote wilderness of Yellowstone. Today, roughly 5,000 of these powerful icons roam freely within our nation’s first national park. Freezing fog from a nearby geyser basin coated this massive bull in frost as he emerged from the mist into the filtered sunlight of a sub-zero January morning.

WILD and AUTHENTIC. Ancient Journey and Icy Nomad capture wild bison in their natural element—exactly as Tony witnessed them. There are no captive animals, artificial skies, or staged scenes—only the untamed beauty of nature and a true moment of connection between photographer and wilderness.
EXQUISITE. Each Platinum Edition image is presented in a handcrafted frame of sustainably harvested solid American walnut, milled and assembled in Colorado. A seamless four-inch linen liner introduces elegant negative space, creating a clean and commanding presentation.
TIMELESS. Each image is printed on Platine Fibre Rag (PFR), an archival paper with a lifespan of over a century. Crafted in France by a mill that has supplied the great masters for hundreds of years, it delivers exceptional detail and rich, lasting color—resulting in a piece to be cherished for generations.
PROTECT. A $500 contribution from each sale helps the Greater Yellowstone Coalition protect Yellowstone’s bison from needless slaughter by Montana livestock interests as they migrate beyond the park boundary each winter.
Icy Nomad and Ancient Journey are offered in two sizes: 30x45 inches (44x59 framed) and 40x60 inches (54x74 framed). Each image is individually signed and numbered by Tony and accompanied by a handwritten note from the artist and a certificate of authenticity.
