Wilson Peak, Colorado

I've long been fascinated by mystery and beauty of the night sky. Growing up I spent many late nights exploring the depths of our galaxy through my backyard telescope. Long exposures through the camera gather details and highlights that escape our eyes. Shortly after sunset, the milky way appeared above Wilson Peak. The autumn colors and snow-capped ridges are a beautiful addition to the colors of the night sky. If you look closely, you can even find Mars and the reflection of Wilson Peak in a small beaver pond.
