Denali National Park, Alaska

Bull moose and Mount Denali (the highest peak in North America) are iconic symbols of the Alaskan wilderness.  Denali encompasses some of the most remote and pristine wilderness in North America.  Moose feed on willows, alders and aquatic plants during the fall and can often be found in the shallows of ponds and lake.  Typically active around dawn and dusk, this large bull is leaving the shallows of Wonder Lake in search of cow moose and the beginning of the fall rut.
