Bighorn sheep spend their lives on the high tundra and steep cliffs where they are protected from predators.  The views from their habitat are often breathtaking.  Although the annual rut is only a few weeks away, this majestic ram is calm and relaxed on this late September day.  A cold storm moves through the Rockies and blankets the high peaks with the first snow of the season while low clouds meander through the mountain valleys.
