Radiant Skies

Nature is always beautiful, but sometimes conditions align to create extraordinary moments. Tall grasses grow during the rainy season on the northern Serengeti plains, awaiting the incredible herds of wildebeest and zebra. Leopards often take refuge in the numerous acacia trees while lions patrol the grasses below. High clouds are all that remain from the previous day's thunderstorms, along with a thin layer of mist across the landscape. The altitude of the clouds allowed them to be brilliantly illuminated by the rising sun. The rich gold and orange clouds form amazing patterns in the sky, and their soft glow warms the grasses below.
