While I usually focus my photography on wildlife, this incredible scene with these beautiful horses was a sight to behold. An icon of the American West, these horses grazed as the first light of the day illuminated the pasture. The golden color of the cottonwoods gave way to the hillsides covered with aspens. The mountains of the Sneffels range towered over the scene and completed this classic image of the West.
