Meet Skywalker, a 13-year-old lieutenant stallion in a band of wild mustangs roaming western Colorado. His white coat reflects both the beauty and the hardship of life in the wild. Most days are spent peacefully foraging with the herd, though competition among the stallions is never far off. On this early September day, Skywalker sparred with another male. Galloping near the herd, he embodied the strength and untamed spirit that define the mustangs of the American West.
