After years of drought, the rains came in force to Southern California during the spring of 2019. This result was an outpouring of life and color from the hillside plants. Poppies close at night and re-open in the morning to track the sun across the sky. The fields of flowers go on for miles and the scene is stunning. A blue sky with high cirrus clouds is the perfect compliment to this springtime extravaganza.
