It seems rare that aspen trees grow in close proximity to river and lakes.  In the few places that I've found aspens reflecting on still bodies of water, the scenes have been spectacular.  In a departure from the traditional 'perfect reflection' image, I have selected the image to highlight the myriad of abstract patterns in the water.  A light drizzle was happening while a gentle ray of sun brought the aspen leaves to life.  The white trunks lead your eye into this collage of color as a few drops of rain impact the water's surface.
