Besides being highly intelligent and very social, brown bears are also playful and entertaining. I have watched a lot of bears play with sticks and logs seemingly for hours. The rock this bear played with was a new experience. As captured in this image, it made several attempts to balance the rock on his nose while resting in a calm section of river.
